Every one of us lies somewhere on the mental health spectrum with good days and bad. Mike Pagan developed mental wealth as a play on words of the term mental health. Mental wealth involves pursuing your true potential and well-being by developing a committed support network.
Although Mike is not a mental health counselor, he is a speaker, executive coach, and the author of 4 books. Mike uses his nonstandard approach to encourage his students to build their network so they can have the right people surrounding them to build the structure and support foundation to lift them up and bring balance to their lives. The support network can help give you the strength you need to achieve your goals.

How Mike Pagan got where he is today
Mike Pagan is enthusiastic about living life to the fullest. He has been an executive coach and has run masterminds for years. After living several years in Australia working for the corporate world, Mike moved his family back home to the UK to become a solopreneur.
As an executive coach, he helps clients find their focus, engage in life, and have fun along the way. Mike attributes his successes as being the result of having a proactive mental wealth team.
Why it is so important to have a mental wealth team in your corner
As many of us discovered firsthand over the past couple of years, isolation is detrimental to our mental health since it kills creativity and hinders decision-making. The Covid crisis also taught us which people have lifted us up and which ones have brought us down.
Having the right people in your corner not only builds you up but also encourages the development of creativity and helps you make better decisions. We all need support and finding the right mental wealth team can give you the strength you need to achieve your goals.
How to start to build your mental wealth team
The first thing to do to begin to build your mental wealth team is write down a list of people that you can rely on. These people may support you in various ways.
After writing down their names, score them from 1-10. Those who score between 4-5 are more than acquaintances. Those who score from 6-7 are considered friends, but you may not feel comfortable being completely open with them and sharing your vulnerabilities. Those that score between 8-10 are part of your mental wealth team. These people have your back through thick and thin.
It is important to be objective about your list and not fudge on your numbers. Put thought and energy into making your list. You’ll want to come back to the list at a later date and filter through to ensure that your mental wealth team can help you get to the next level in life.
As you make your list consider every area of your network. Your vast network of colleagues and acquaintances can help you fill the gaps in your list. You never know how the people in your network could change your life until you start asking questions.
Listen in to this interview with Mike Pagan to hear how to create your mental wealth team so that you can improve your mental health. Your mental wealth team is the backup you need to achieve your goals.
